Arbour Park in Slough is a fabulous new community sports & leisure stadium which offers state of the art facilities for corporate events, private functions & sport. S&C Slatter was invited by main contractor Morgan Sindall to work as their specialist partner for the construction of the stadium 3G football turf pitch.
The 106m x 70m 3G system features a FieldTurf 50mm Vertex artificial turf surface and in-situ bound shock pad installed over a macadam engineered sub-base. Its designed and certified to play to both FIFA Quality Pro and World Rugby Regulation 22 performance standards and is now the home pitch of Slough Town FC.
However, in addition to hosting Vanarama National League South football this pitch is available to the wider community including local schools.
S&C Slatter was also responsible for installing a rigid panel weld mesh perimeter spectator fence and floodlighting together with a full range of pitch furniture. The company is providing on-going expert maintenance services through its Slatter Sports Maintain division as well as the necessary equipment for the Stadium’s own staff to carry out routine aftercare.
