Determined to uphold and extend the very highest standards of customer service and delivery within a strongly growing business, S&C Slatter has increased its estimating resources with the appointment of Nick Seymour.
With a BA (HONS) first class degree in Business Management & Communications, Nick has developed his career as a results-driven business professional, specialising in estimating, sales and client relationships within the highly competitive construction and property industries.
Nick joins the Pre-Construction Team at the Company’s Newbury Head Office where he will be working closely with the in-house project managers and designers in evaluating and preparing client project specifications and costings.
This will include a good deal of on-site pre-submission assessment, considering the proposed works environment and logistics; while verifying customer objectives against the practicalities of the location. In doing so he will be focussed on S&C Slatter’s inclusive sports construction portfolio with its extensive national customer reach to Independent Schools, Leisure Operators, Main Contractors and Sports Clubs.
Project size and complexity extends from small size sports areas and MUGAs, through full size artificial turf and natural pitches to athletics tracks and on to highly developed integrated sports-hubs. These can include significant support infrastructure such as changing and spectator facilities, car parking and access roads – all of which are managed through the company’s own project teams.
Throughout his career to date Nick has enjoyed positions of significant responsibility with an accent on the bespoke design and delivery of quality-based project solutions. Such experience is highly relevant to the S&C Slatter brand and client offer, and immediately equips Nick with the business culture necessary to be a highly successful member of the S&C Slatter team.
Away from the busy working week, Nick makes the most of his family-time and a range of personal interests. These include home improvement projects, going to the gym, gardening, walking. cycling and skiing. However, Nick still looks for opportunities to continue his personal and professional development studies.
