S&C Slatter is delighted to have been nominated in two categories – Product and Growth – at the Willmott Dixon Annual Supply Chain Gala Awards.
As a Willmott Dixon Category A Supply Chain Partner, it has been particularly satisfying to be recognised for the significant contribution we have made to the exciting new Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub. Ours has been an extensive and challenging brief embracing a number of key elements within the overall development.
Led by Pre-Construction Manager Ben O’Connor and Contracts Manager Peter Fowler, the S&C Slatter team has delivered an exceptional end product which will be seen as one of Surrey’s most important community assets.
This recognition follows close upon the results of the Willmott Dixon project supply chain performance review which awarded S&C Slatter excellent 9 of 10 marks for Quality of Goods/Workmanship/Service, Co-operation/Service & Management, On Time Delivery/Commitment to Programme, Health & Safety Performance
David Slatter Managing Director of S&C Slatter comments ‘We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Willmott Dixon on the Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub and believe all of us can be proud, not only of the result, which quite frankly speaks for itself, but the highly engaged and seamless relationship that has driven it.’
‘We have developed an outstanding scope of in-house resource, covering all company operations, which gives us the capacity and skills to manage a large, diverse and growing estate-wide business portfolio, and establish ourselves as the Country’s leading Sports Hub Construction Specialists’.
‘Partnership working is the cornerstone of our client relationships and a major factor in us gaining many endorsements and recommendations from existing customers.’
The new Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub provides a shared home ground for Walton Casuals Football Club, Walton & Hersham Football Club and Walton Athletics Club, all of whom will playing their sport on an artificial surfacing system constructed by S&C Slatter. Local clubs, sports teams and schools will also no doubt be taking full advantage of the new pitches and track.
